Divi Builder Issue
There has been an issue with the Divi builder on several Club websites. The Divi Builder is not editable and you cannot create a new page using the Divi Builder. We are working on resolving the issue but there is not a current ETA on when it will be resolved.
NOTE: This issue is NOT on ALL Club websites just a few.
Requirement for all Club Websites, Brochures and Flyers
Everyone should have received an email notification regarding the requirement for the statement “Open to Club Members and their accompanied guests!” to be on all SCW Club Websites. This second email was for clarification as there were many questions on this requirement. The email was sent to all Club Content Managers and Club Presidents.
Updates! – June 2019
Several updates to the website plugins have been done. These updates should resolve some issues that have been reported.

Update Issues with Internet Explorer
Several Content Managers have reported issues with trying to update their Club website pages. They are receiving a “Builder Cache Warning” saying they do not have security rights to update their club website pages. I have seen this issue and it appears to be happening with users who are using Internet Explorer.
You can try clearing your browser cache, close and reopen. If this continues please switch to a different browser such as Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox then you should be able to update your club’s website without the error. If you still continue to have problems please submit a Help Ticket.

- Update or add a telephone and/or email address so people interested in your club can reach you
- Have you updated your calendar?
- Set up your Events Calendar for the coming year!

Governing Board Decision Regarding Non-Chartered Clubs
The Recreation Centers Governing Board has decided to limit space on the scwclubs.com website to Chartered Clubs of the Association.
Non-chartered clubs wishing to retain a website will need to create external websites as soon as possible as their current SCWClubs.com website will be removed in the very near future. Non-Chartered club Presidents and Content Managers have been notified and several volunteers have offered support to assist the clubs on this transition.
Note: The Rec Centers will add a “Non-Chartered Clubs” page with links to external websites to our Club Directory. If a Sun City West Non-Chartered club wishes for us to post a link to their external website they can email the Club Name and URL to scwclubs@suncitywest.com We will periodically check the links and any broken links will be removed from our site.

Tempting, interesting new things showing up on your pages/posts?
Have you seen this near the bottom of your pages… it says “A New And Improved Divi Builder Experience Is Available! Switch to the New DIVI Builder.”
The picture above shows items now appearing on your pages/posts. Please DO NOT click on Switch to the New DIVI Builder link. This link changes the appearance, layout and functionality of the Divi Builder.
If you did click it while on your club’s website, please click the “Switch Back to Classic Divi Builder” to return to the familiar Divi Builder layout.
Curiosity is a good thing and trying out new things is even better… but please do not be tempted to click on things that you have not been trained on! If you have a question, please submit a ticket and we will get back to you!

Club Website Conversion Update
110 Chartered Clubs have been Converted!
The conversion of 110 Chartered Clubs to the new Divi Theme and standards has been completed! If you have any questions about your club website please submit a Help Ticket. Our team will start converting the Non-Chartered club websites after the Christmas Holiday.
We will be offering additional training in the coming New Year. For individual training please click the button below.

WordPress 5.0 is here!
Our site administrator has informed me that all SCWClubs.com websites have been updated to the newest version of WordPress – WordPress 5.0 aka Gutenberg! It is live now and the good news is our new Divi Theme appears to be working the same has it did with the older version of WordPress. The ‘view’ of your pages/posts may look slightly different but it should work the same.
